An Open Letter to Sun Broadband Wireless Management

To all concerned,

I chose to subscribe to your service since many of your subscribers testified that SBW is fast and convenient. It was, for a week.

After a week, my download and upload speed started to splurge, allowing me to access only plain HTML pages. I thought that something must be interfering with my connection but I tried it in different locations. Still I got the same, sucky speed.

Come the last week of October, I could not connect to the internet using your device. I tried it in different PCs with different operating systems but all to no avail. I tried calling your customer service but it just directed me to Sun Cellular. With so little time I have to deal with your crappy service, I was not able to use my SBW device for a week. Believe me, I tried all means, and believe me, having no internet connection during the time I needed most is really, really horrible.

I pay my bills. I just paid last October. I would not believe it if the reason behind this inaccessibility is disconnection without prior notice. In the first place I should not be getting any disconnection notice since I paid my bill on time.

I am really certain that there is something wrong with your system, let alone the crappy internet connection we experience. If you don’t do something about your system, I might as well switch to a better internet provider.

So okay, I’ve been Sun-less for two weeks now. Sun Broadband Wireless has left me just when I needed it most so I had to borrow my sister’s Globe Tattoo prepaid to be able to launch this personal blog of mine. I’m really thinking of switching to another provider.

    uhm you might want to check the free trial of sky broadband, jeff’s officemate said it was fast, but smart bro works fine for us.
    though, we use desktop and so we have the “poste” like smart bro tower near our house…..

    wala pa daw service ang Sky internet samin eh. I’m rooting for SmartBRO. Sun Broadband said nagpalit ng policy nung October, na puputulan agad without notice kahit 1 month palang di bayad. WHAT THE FUCK. inaway ko ung agent.

    wala talagang silbi yan sun,ang maganda lumipat na lang tayo ng ibang network……
